The IIHF World Junior Championship 2026 is set to deliver two weeks of elite under-20 international hockey, and fans won’t want to miss a single shift. For the first time since 2018, the tournament returns to the United States, with the Twin Cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota, hosting the world’s top young talent.
Through four days at the World Junior Hockey Championship Canada, USA and Sweden are the only unbeaten teams remaining. Tuesday brings a lighter day on the schedule, but on New Year's Eve, Canada will face off against Finland, and Sweden and the Americans will go head-to-head. The winners from those games will finish as the top seed in their group.
